Rosie, Marla and Donald

Rosie O'Donnell's life had been a whirlwind of drama and controversy ever since she and Donald Trump had their now infamous showdown on "The View." Everywhere she went, people asked her about it. Fans stopped her on the street to offer words of support, while critics hurled insults and taunts her way.

But on this particular day, Rosie found herself face to face with someone who understood exactly what she was going through: Marla Maples one of her friend and Donald Trump's ex-wife.

It was a chance encounter, one that Rosie almost missed as she hurried down the street, lost in thought. But Marla's blonde hair caught her eye, and she slowed down to take a closer look.

"Marla?" she said, her voice uncertain. "Is that really you?"

Marla turned around, and for a moment, Rosie saw a flicker of surprise in her eyes. But then she smiled, and Rosie knew that everything was going to be okay.

"Rosie!" Marla said, hugging her tightly. "It's so good to see you."

Rosie felt a lump rise in her throat. It was amazing how much comfort a simple hug could provide.

"Come on," she said, taking Marla's arm. "Let's get a drink. There's so much I want to talk to you about."

As they walked to a nearby bar, Rosie found herself pouring her heart out to Marla. She told her everything: about the tweets, the insults, the constant harassment from Donald Trump.

And Marla listened, nodding sympathetically and offering words of encouragement. She had been through a similar ordeal, and she knew exactly how Rosie felt.

"He's just so vindictive," Rosie said, taking a sip of her drink. "He can't stand it when people stand up to him. He has to tear them down and make them feel small."

Marla reached out and put a hand on Rosie's arm. "I know, Rosie. But don't let him get to you. You're stronger than he is. You always have been."

Rosie felt a surge of gratitude. It was amazing how much better she felt just talking to someone who understood.

"Tell me, Marla," she said, leaning in. "What was he like? I mean, really?"

Marla hesitated for a moment before speaking. "He was...complicated," she said, her voice low. "At times he could be very charming and funny. But at other times...well, let's just say he wasn't always the easiest person to be around."

Rosie raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Marla sighed. "He could be very controlling. He didn't like it when I had opinions that differed from his own. And towards the end, he became very abusive."

Rosie felt her heart sink. "I had no idea," she said. "I'm so sorry, Marla."

Marla shrugged. "It's in the past now. But I understand what you're going through. You have to stay strong and keep fighting. You're doing the right thing."

Rosie smiled, feeling a sense of solidarity with Marla. She knew that she wasn't alone in her fight against Donald Trump. And with Marla by her side, she felt more determined than ever to keep going.
